Ailing airship manufacturer CargoLifter has been given a last chance. Shareholders have to put up another €20 mill, otherwise, says insolvency administrator Rolf-Dieter Monnig, the company will have to be liquidated.

Cargo Lifter AG, Berlin, has added a cargo balloon design to its cargo airship range. The CL75 AirCrane has a 61m diameter and volume of 110,000 m3 for helium gas. Service speed is up to 70 km/h, range 250 km and load capacity 75 tons. It can also be used as a stationary lifting device.
