Despite its relatively modest facilities, the port of Södertälje continues to grow. The port’s managing director Erik Froste attributes this position to two main factors: the port’s location 30 kms south of Stockholm and close to the E4 and E20 motorways; and its low cost basis, achieved by measured investment and high productivity.
