The Port of New York and New Jersey is realising immediate benefits from the raising of the Bayonne Bridge to provide vessels with an air draught clearance of 215ft. This month, the 10,062 TEU ZIM ANTWERP passed under the raised Bayonne Bridge on its way to Maher Terminals in Port Elizabeth.
