Columbia and Marlow set to complete merger

Two of the largest ship management companies based in Cyprus, but with German ownership, are to merge. Columbia Shipmanagement and Marlow Navigation, which initiated discussions last year and have subsequently completed due diligence, now await only final regulatory approval for the deal. This approval is needed from the antitrust authorities in both Cyprus and Germany, and it is expected to be granted by June 2017.
