Swedish shipping company Wallenius Lines has ordered two 8000 CEU capacity, post-Panamax PCTCs, for deployment by Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics (WWL), Wallenius’s 50:50 joint venture with Norway’s Wilh. Wilhelmsen. While Wilhelmsen has already placed an order for two 8000 CEU PCTCs with Hyundai Heavy Industries, Wallenius has placed its order with Chinese shipyard Tianjin Xingang Shipbuilding, which is part of CSIC group, the government-owned Northern Shipyard Group of China.
