New offtake deal propels Maersk to meet over half of its 2027 methanol demand
NewsMaersk has secured combined offtake agreements that now meet over 50% of the projected demand for its dual-fuel methanol vessels in 2027.
As this issue was going to press, Maersk Line announced that it had ordered 10 18,000 TEU containerships from South Korea’s Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering (DSME), with an option for a further 20 of the same design.
