Kloosterboer cold store grip tightens

Kloosterboer has further extended its hold on the Dutch temperature controlled storage and transhipment market by taking over Dutch coldstore firm Daalimpex. The deal was struck with the receivers and the bank (ABN Amro) only a day after Daalimpex, an Eimskip affiliate, went bankrupt. The Icelandic group had acquired Daalimpex only three years ago.
