EZ Indus of South Korea is building a prototype of its “Ultra-high Container Warehouse System” (UCW) and will demonstrate it in Busan later this year. The UCW is a high racking automatic storage and retrieval system that can theoretically save 90% of the space in an existing RTG yard by stacking containers up to 50 floors high in a racked warehouse system.
