Paper boost for Tor Line

In a boost to its new terminal on the Maasvlakte, DFDS Tor Line has signed a contract with Norske Skog to handle some 150,000 tonnes of paper annually through the facility, out of total shipments of 700,000 tonnes/year.

The remainder is shipped from the Oslo region to Germany, Belgium, the British Isles, Spain and the Eastern Mediterranean. Under the agreement with Norske Skog, a 10,000 m2 warehouse and distribution centre is being built at the new terminal. The €4 mill facility is scheduled for commissioning next month.
