Bertschi grows in Antwerp

News-in-print

Tank operator Bertschi AG has strengthened its tank service infrastructure in the port of Antwerp with the acquisition of the Containercare NV repair depot and the opening last month of a new dry bulk cleaning station with two cleaning bays at the BASF Antwerp site. Cleaning services are also available to other hauliers serving the BASF Antwerp plant.

The Containercare installation, which covers an area of 22,000 m2 and comprises an office building and workshop, is situated only 400m from the existing Bertschi terminal in Antwerp. Bertschi moved for Containercare because of the increasing number of tank containers it operates throughout Europe and the fact that the company’s workshops for repairs and inspections at Birrfeld in Switzerland can no longer cope with the workload.
