A partnership between an Australia car manufacturer and CP Ships’ subsidiary ANZDL on the Trans Tasman trade lane is claimed to have resulted in reduced damage rates of 18 per cent over industry standards.
An in-depth quality improvement project, managed by ANZDL, investigated the transportation of the manufacturer’s vehicles from the point of production to final destination in a bid to improve the number of damage-free cars to a rate better than previously achieved by the shipping industry.
