After enjoying almost two years of record production, reefer builders have had to readjust to fewer orders and a growing equipment stockpile at factories.

Reefer manufacturers are finally facing up to a tougher market after almost two years of record output. In contrast to 2011 and the first half of 2012, when the three established box building companies had been working at close to maximum capacity, there has been a relative dearth of activity since early in third quarter of this year.
