The Surabaya-based Meratus Group, which offers an extensive network of inter-island container, general cargo and logistics services, has acquired International Container Terminal Services Inc’s (ICTSI) majority shareholding in PT ICTSI Jasa Prima Tbk (IJP.)

Manila-based International Container Terminal Services Inc. (ICTSI) has been awarded a 25-year concession by the Philippine Ports Authority (PPA) to develop and operate the Iloilo Commercial Port Complex (ICPC) in Western Visayas.

Portbase, which runs a Port Community System in the Netherlands, has teamed up with Germany-based Portrix Logistic Software to offer Portrix’s VGM solution to the Dutch shipping community. The Portrix VGM application captures all relevant data automatically and securely, sharing it electronically with carriers, thus ensuring legal obligations are fulfilled, and containers are not left standing on the docks.
