The Geogia Ports Authority (GPA) has completed work on modernising and expanding the Garden City Terminal (GCT) at the port of Savannah. It means all berths at GCT are now fully operational, allowing the facility to handle more ships and cargo. Its overall handling capacity has been increased by 750,000 TEU a year.
