Gdansk and Gdynia are developing new terminals and intermodal rail yards, as they seek a larger slice of eastern and central Europe’s general cargo traffic, opportunities to tap into the increase in east-west rail services between China and Europe, and northsouth links between the Baltic Sea and Adriatic Sea, to boost their regional transhipment business.
