MMD Shipping, the stevedoring arm of Portsmouth International Port, UK, recently acquired a new Gottwald mobile harbour crane (MHC) from Konecranes for £2.1M. The crane is understood to be a two-rope Generation 5 Model 6 unit in the G HMK 6507 variant, with a maximum hook capacity of 125t, and a maximum outreach of 51m.
