ABB’s automation journey continues

As noted in the May 2017 edition of WorldCargo News (p29), there are now 75 STS cranes worldwide either delivered or on order with the ABB automation and remote control system. The list also includes one remote control STS crane for the Port of Houston Authority’s (PHA) Bayport Terminal, which will be the first remote operated STS crane in the US.
