India’s major ports up 6.79%

India’s major ports have recorded growth of 6.79 % in cargo during the 2016-17 financial year, representing 647.43 Mt. During the same period last year, the 12 “major ports”, under the Indian shipping ministry definition, posted growth of 4.32%.
