ZPMC ships STS cranes to Italy’s Gioia Tauro, RMGs to Sri Lanka
NewsZPMC continues its delivery streak, supplying two STS cranes to Italy’s MCT in Gioia Tauro and eight RMG cranes to Sri Lanka’s East Container Terminal.
Colombo concession in limbo
It looks as if the concession process for the Colombo Port East Container Terminal (CPECT) will be cancelled, with bids submitted by the seven parties interested in the deal likely to be disqualified. It follows a decision by the Sri Lankan Government’s Cabinet Committee on Economic Management to change the conditions of the concession, with a view to keeping the new terminal under port authority control.
