Hamburg company Eichholtz, specialising in handling and storage of sensitive foodstuffs such as nuts, seeds, dried fruits and pulses, has opened what is touted as one of Europe’s top-rated temperaturecontrolled warehouses in the port, with energy-saving cooling plant. In the process, it has doubled its local cool/cold storage capacity to 60,000 m3.
