Incoming Kalmar president Antti Kaunonen is firmly focused on boosting Kalmar’s ability to deliver port automation projects. In an interview with WorldCargo News, Kaunonen – who was previously senior vice president in Kalmar’s Automation and Project Division – noted that there are currently around 70 port automation projects either active or in the planning stages, and he expects that number to keep growing.
