New ZPMC cranes for Egypt and Panama
NewsIn a fresh delivery round, ZPMC has dispatched cranes to SCCT in Egypt and SSA Marine MIT in Panama.
SCCT to get its side channel
Operations at Suez Canal Container Terminal (SCCT), Egypt’s largest container handling facility, will be boosted by the decision of the Suez Canal Authority to dredge a new side channel to the main canal. It will mean that vessel calling at SCCT will not have to fine-tune their operations to fit in with the Suez Canal convoys. Currently, vessels are restricted to an eight-hour window.
