One of the standout features of the Port of Rotterdam’s Q1-Q3 2014 cargo figures (reported on WorldCargo News Online) was an 8% increase in ro-ro traffic over the coresponding period in 2013, to 15 Mt, due almost entirely to growth in the British economy. The forecast for the year is 20 Mt.
