Second 17-wide crane for Ravenna

Ravenna Container Terminal (TCR), co-owned by SAPIR and Contship Italia Group, has commissioned a second STS crane – or iginally built by Fantuzzi Reggiane in 1997 – after enlargement and revamping, as a result of a ?8M programme of investment. Both cranes were originally Panamax units with a 13-wide outreach. A full report on the work on the first crane was published in the October 2013 issue of WorldCargo News (p38).
