Three ZPMC STS cranes delivered to Port of Lamu
NewsThe cranes have a reach of 24 containers across and have been designed to tackle the challenges posed by windy conditions. Also, the KPA has ordered four RTGs.
A consortium of Chinese companies has been awarded a contract to begin construction work on the new port of Lamu in Kenya. China Communications Construction Company is the lead contractor, while China Road and Bridge Corporation will build the first phase of the container terminal with three berths.
