When Cargotec acquired Indital Construction Machinery in 2007, the S&P agreement gave the Bangalore facility to Cargotec for 10 years. In line with the agreement, Cargotec duly vacated the facility earlier this year. Loadstar, set up by Indital’s former owner Ravi Kumar around five years ago (WorldCargo News, December 2012, p26), has taken it over, and is ready to resume manufacturing big trucks there.
