Steel up at Liverpool

The Port of Liverpool is forecasting steel traffic volumes of 300,000t this year, an increase of 113,000t over 2010. As of the end of October, volume had increased 75% year on year, to 250,144t. Overall British port market growth in iron and steel traffic is currently around 5% a year.
