International Container Terminal Services, Inc (ICTSI) has signed a 25-year lease for the container/ breakbulk facility at Terminal 6 with the Port of Portland, Oregon.

The port began its search for a public-pr ivate partnership (PPP) player two years ago, but suspended the process due to the economic downturn. This is ICTSI’s first foray in North America, although at one time it looked as though it would become involved in one and then another project in the US Gulf (in Texas).
