Upgrade for Banana

The port of Banana in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DR Congo) is to be modernised at a cost of US$404M. Five new berths, including two dedicated container berths and three for general cargo, will be developed as part of a recent memorandum of understanding between DR Congo and the government of South Korea, which is to finance the project.
