Adani Ports to operate CT2 at Dar es Salaam Port
NewsAIPH has signed a 30-year deal with the Tanzania Ports Authority to manage Dar es Salaam’s Container Terminal 2, which handled 820,000 TEU in 2023.
Mega project for Karachi
Karachi Port Trust (KPT) will launch its US$1B Pakistan Deep Water Container Port (PDWCP) project next month (see WorldCargo News September 2007, p12). Underscoring its strategic importance, Prime Minister Syed Yousaf Raza Gillani will lay the foundation stone.
