Push for new 100,000 dwt Terneuzen lock

Shipping interests and local political figures are pushing for a new Terneuzen lock capable of accommodating 100,000 dwt ships. The joint Belgian/Dutch bureau studying all options, is due to report to the two country’s transport departments by February next year.
