NewsAIPH has signed a 30-year deal with the Tanzania Ports Authority to manage Dar es Salaam’s Container Terminal 2, which handled 820,000 TEU in 2023.
The government of Tanzania has stated that it will soon decide the fate of Tanzania International Container Services’ (TICTS) concession to operate Dar es Salaam container terminal. The company, 70% owned by IIHC (ICTSI group) was originally awarded a 10-year contract to manage the terminal in 2000.
