NYK to build high bay container warehouse

Japan’s NYK Line is to build a “container hangar,” the first of its kind, at Berth 6 at Tokyo’s Ohi Container Terminal. The hangar is an automated storage racking system with individual container selectivity. The steel frame measures 150m long x 56m wide x 31m high and has a total capacity of 420 TEU on its 8400 m2 footprint.
