New terminal in Ukraine starts operations

Russia’s National Container Company (NCC) has started construction work on berths five and six at its container terminal in Ukraine’s Ilyichevsk port that will raise handling capacity to 1.5M TEU a year.
NCC, Russia’s largest container port operator, said the recent completion of berths three and four in the terminal’s second phase expansion had increased handling capacity to more than 650,000 TEU a year.
