Although it has issued a public tender for a 48 hectare area in the Quarleshaven that a Eurogate and Verbrugge partnership is known to be targeting as a new container terminal (see last month’s WorldCargo News, p16,), Zealand Seaports (ZP) says it will begin construction of the quay wall for the planned 600,000 TEU/year South Sea Terminal in East Flushing in early April.
