Civil unrest slows Chattogram

In its first survey report submitted to the Bangladesh government last month, Japanese consultancy Pacific Consultant International (PCI) has recommended Sonadia Island in the Cox’s Bazar district, 150 km south of Chittagong, as the most suitable site for building a deepwater container port.
