The Victorian government has released the Port of Melbourne Corporation (PoMC)’s remarkable 15,000-page supplementary environmental effects statement (SEES) into the proposed deepening of the Port Phillip channel, but the move appears to have inflamed rather than mollified environmentalists’ opposition.
