Freightliner could move operations to accommodate Manchester United
NewsUK rail operator Freightliner is in negotiations with Manchester United to allow the football club to annex their intermodal terminal for expansion plans.
Plans for the first post-Panamax container terminal on the UK’s west coast have been given the goahead by the Department of Transport. The £90M development on the River Mersey will have a capacity for more than 500,000 TEU/year and be able to accommodate two post-Panamax ships at the same time.
