Macquarie in second Canadian move

Macquarie Infrastructure Partners (MIP) has made its second foray into the Canadian container terminal market with an agreement to buy Fraser Surrey Docks in Vancouver. The company was put up for sale last year after losing two thirds of its box traffic to other Vancouver terminals after Hapag-Lloyd bought CP Ships (see WorldCargo News August 2006, p10).
