Gulftainer targets Kuwait terminal

Sharjah-based port operator Gulftainer will bid to operate the container terminal at Kuwait’s Shuwaikh port when the facility is offered for privatisation, likely before the end of next year.

Potential rivals for the deal are expected to include DP World, Hutchison Port Holdings, PSA International and Denmark’s APM Terminals.
