BGV sails ahead

BGV France, the designer of the 35-knot fast jet carrier (Bateau Grande Vitesse) has announced that a Letter of Intent has been signed with Chikara Shipping Ltd to purchase five BGVs for freight as well as passenger services. Chikara has also taken an option on four more BGVs. Negotiations with shipyards are understood to be ongoing but are expected to be concluded within the next two months.
