The New South Wales government’s decision to rule that neither Toll/Patrick nor P&O Ports/DP World will be able to bid for the third Port Botany terminal (see WorldCargo News August 2006, p9) appears to have facilitated a commonsense outcome on another issue – the location of the project’s “floating” fifth berth.
