DP World completes acquisition of Cargo Services
NewsDP World has acquired Cargo Services Far East Ltd, enhancing its global supply chain capabilities with services for retail and high-fashion logistics.
…and Gwadar port, too?
As also briefly mentioned in last month’s WorldCargo News (p7), the Pakistani government is likely to choose DP World to manage its new deepwater Gwadar port. “DP World expressed an interest for management of Gwadar port and we are discussing it with them,” said Commodore Munir Wahid, director of Gwadar Port Implementation Authority (GPIA).
