Trade at Spain’s ports increased 7.3% in 2005, when 410.4 mt were moved at the country’s 42 commercial ports, Spain’s government-run ports agency Puertos del Estado has announced. The strong trade at Spanish ports reflects steady GDP growth in Spain which grew 3.4% in 2005, the highest growth rate in Spain in four years.
