Mumbai deadline extended

India’s Mumbai Port Trust (MbPT) has extended the deadline for the submission of technical and financial bids for its planned offshore container terminal until December 15 (see WorldCargo News September 2005, p10).

The earlier deadline was November 4, but the port’s chief engineer N M Purohit said that bidders had requested more time.
