India expands foreign port presence with new consortium
NewsIndia is forming a consortium to acquire and develop foreign ports, with IPGL managing operations, IPRCL handling infrastructure, and SDCL overseeing financing.

The proposed Dhamra bulk port in the eastern Indian state of Orissa, which has been delayed for numerous reasons in the past, is expected to achieve financial closure before the end of the year, a senior official of Larsen & Toubro said.
