Wind of change at Ayr

Reflecting the UK’s growing need for alternative sources of energy, wind turbines are being imported through Associated British Ports (ABP)’s Port of Ayr for the first time. As well as boosting sustainable energy in the area, the importation of the turbines will also see the arrival of some of the biggest ships ever to dock at the port.
