Hutchison moves in on Ceres Paragon…

Although Hutchison Port Holdings (HPH)’s takeover of ECT several years ago was resisted for some time by EU competition authorities, apparently no objection is being made to Hutchison’s takeover of the idle Ceres Paragon terminal in Amsterdam, even though, according to Port of Rotterdam reports, Hutchison intends to close the unique, indented dock facility and transport all the equipment to Rotterdam.
