ABP Dibden Bay plan rejected

The UK government has turned down Associated British Ports (ABP)’s plan to build a �600 mill, 300 hectare container port and intermodal complex at Dibden Bay, Southapton Water. The Department of Transport (DoT) reportedly adopted the planning inspector’s recommendation that the scheme should not go ahead because of its enviromental impact.
