Following its long and difficult effort to bring a new container terminal on line for China Shipping at Berth 100 (New Century Terminal), the Port of Los Angeles plans to amend the Notice of Preparation (NOP) it previously issued for reuse of an 86-acre, fourcrane container terminal formerly used by Matson Navigation at Berths 206-209 to include “specific environmental requirements.”
